All right, so this Sunday me, Zeynep and Yo went to the Malmö’s
Eco-city in Western Harbour. On our way there we saw a strange column of light falling vertically from the sky, it was the first time in my life I’ve seen such a natural optical phenomenon (
on photo). Another column on our way was constructed by humans, but it impressed me as much as the natural one! (
on photo) Just imagine, it’s actually an apartment complex, with people living there!
And then inside the Eco-city itself it totally blew my mind! It was like visit to a place I sometimes see in my dreams—ecologically and socially sustainable, human-scale, diverse and vibrant, in harmony of architecture with nature (one smoothly transcending into the other, see
the photo), pedestrian-oriented, rich in shapes in colours (
on photo)… We all were so excited, each of us in her own way. Zeynep was keeping on saying: “I would give anything to live here! Please, please, let me afford renting an apartment here in the future!”. I was like jumping around and having this big silly smile on my face, exclaiming about how sustainable eco-towns like this one are going to be built all over the planet in the next 50 years, and how what we witness here is one of the earliest examples. I especially liked the ‘biodome’ design, we are going to build lots of these on the Moon and Mars (
on photo). Yo were much more composed than two of us, but she was taking a lot of pictures and readily agreeing with our excited remarks while trying to keep pace with us. I was too excited to walk slowly, and Zeynep wanted to reach the beach in time to see the sunset and all the beautiful sky colours (
on photo). We were strolling on the seafront, absorbing its salty smells, looking at people in the windows and cafés, discussing how it inspires us to study well to get a decent job later and move to a place like this one… We were like kids in a toy store, really!.. (
on photo) So we spent there about an hour, and then it got dark (by 4 pm!), and we got cold, tired and hungry. But still happy and talkative, nevertheless! We walked for another hour from there, and it was weird to get back to the ‘normal’ city, like traveling 30 years back in time…
Anyway, we went into this nice small Thai restaurant, where we had a bowl of rice and a bowl of vegetables in a curry stew (
on photo) for just 35 crowns (that’s cheap, I tell you!). I was like happy and excited before we came there, and I ate my dinner very quick and with a lot of enthusiasm, and then I was happy and serene and not talkative anymore. :-) When we went out, I began to suck and chew on my candy which were still there with me since I bought it two days ago (I blogged about it
here, in Russian). Me and Yo thanked Zeynep for a wonderful weekend we had together, Zeynep was so happy to hear that! After much hugging and thanking and stuff, we parted with Zen and made our best efforts not to get lost on our way to the train station. By the time we reached our train to Lund I managed to finish the candy, I felt warm and sweet and sleepy… We were in Lund around 7 pm, and I had to walk back to my place, because I left the bike at home. All in all, it was a great weekend, inspiring and relaxing at the same time. However, I felt so excited that I couldn't get asleep, so I’ve read
more about the Eco-city and all its wonderful aspects, and then I’ve downloaded and watched Canadian documentary
‘A Place Called Chiapas’ and finally I got asleep and slept just 4 hours and then it was time for a new day and a new course to begin!
Vizito al la estonto
Nu bone, do la lastan dimanĉon mi, Zejnep kaj Jo iris al Malmö por viziti ĝian faman
Eko-urbon en Okcidenta Haveno. Sur nia vojo tien ni vidis strangan kolumnon de lumo falantan el ĉielo, la unuan fojon en mia vivo mi vidis tian interesan naturan fenomenon (
sur foto). Alia kolumno sur nia vojo estis afero artefarita, sed ĝi impresis min ne malpli ol la unua! (

La Eko-urbo mem ankaŭ tute mirigis min! Tio estis kvazaŭ vizito al loko kiun mi iam vidas en miaj sonĝoj — ekologie kaj socie daŭripova, homskala, diverseca kaj bunta, en harmonio de arkitekturo kun naturo (unu glate glitanta en la alian —
sur foto), piedirant-amika, riĉa je formoj kaj koloroj (
sur foto)… Ni ĉiuj estis tre ekscititaj, ĉiu laŭ sia propra maniero. Zejnep ripetadis: “Mi fordonus ĉion por loĝi ĉi tie! Bonvolu, bonvolu fari tiel ke mi povos lui apartamenton tie ĉi estonte!”. Mi estis saltanta ĉirkaŭe, havante grandan feliĉan rideton sur mia vizaĝo, kriante pri kiel daŭripovaj urbetoj kiel tiu ĉi estos konstruataj tra la tuta Tero en sekvaj 50 jaroj, kaj ke kion ni observas tie ĉi estas unu el la plej fruaj ekzemploj. Precipe mi ŝatis travideblan travideblan kupolon-biosferon, tiajn ni estos konstruantaj sur Luno kaj Marso (
sur foto). Kaj Jo estis multe pli trankvila ol ni du, sed ŝi fotis tre multe kaj konsentadis kun niaj kri-rimarkoj dum penante postkuri nin. Mi estis tro ekscitita por iri malrapide, kaj Zejnep volis atingi la strandon ĝustatempe por spekti la sunsubiron kaj ĉiujn belegajn ĉiel-kolorojn (

Ni estis promenantaj sur la plaĝo, ĝuante salajn aromojn de la maro, gapante homojn en la fenestroj kaj kafejoj, diskutante pri kiel ĉio ĉi inspiras nin studi tre bone kaj poste ekhavi decan laboron kaj translokiĝi al la loko kiel tiu ĉi… Ni estis kiel infanoj en la dolĉaĵ-butiko, vere!.. (
sur foto) Ni pasigis tie ĉirkaŭ unu horon kaj tiam la ĉielo malheliĝis (je la 4a horo posttagmeze!) kaj ni malvarmiĝis, laciĝis kaj malsatiĝis. Sed ni daŭre estis trankvilaj kaj babilemaj! Ni iris unu horon plu de tie, kaj sentis strangecon de reveno en ‘kutiman’ urbon, kvazaŭ vojaĝante en la tempo antaŭ 30 jarojn…

Ĉiukaze, ni venis en bonan malgrandan tajan restoracion kie ĉiu el nia havis bovlon de rizo kaj bovlon de legomoj kun spicoj kaj pipro (
sur foto), nur kontraŭ 35 kronoj (tio ĉi estas malmultekoste, mi diru al vi!). Mi estis feliĉa kaj ekscitita antaŭ ni venis tien, kaj mi manĝis rapidege kaj kun granda entuziasmo, kaj poste mi estis feliĉa kaj serena kaj ne plu parolema. :-) Kial ni eliris, mi eksuĉis kaj ekmaĉis mian dolĉaĵon kiun mi daŭre havis kun mi du tagojn post la aĉeto (mi blogis pri tio
ĉi tie ruse). Mi kaj Jo dankis na Zejnep pro la bonega semajnfino kiun ni kune havis, Zejnep estis tre feliĉa aŭdi tion! Post longa brakumado, dankado kaj umado ni adiaŭis na Zejnep kaj tre klopodis ne perdiĝi sur la vojo al la stacidomo. Kiam ni atingis nian trajnon ĝis Lund, mi jam finis mian dolĉaĵon, mi sentis min varme kaj dolĉe kaj dormeme… Ni estis en Lund proksimume je la 7a vespere, kaj mi devis paŝi ĝis mia distrikto, ĉar mi lasis biciklon hejme. Konklude, estis belega semajnfino, inspira kaj malstreĉa samtempe. Tamen, mi sentis min tiom ekscitita ke mi ne povis endormiĝi, tial mi legis
pli pri la Eko-urbo kaj poste elŝutis kaj spektis kanadan filmon
‘A Place Called Chiapas’ kaj poste finfine mi endormiĝis kaj dormis nur 4 horojn kaj tiam estis tempo por la nova tago kaj nova kurso komenciĝi!
Визит в будущее
Итак, прошлым воскресеньем я, Зейнеп и Йо гуляли по
Экогороду в Западном порту Мальмё. По дороге туда мы могли наблюдать странное небесное явление: колонну света, строго вертикально падающую с неба вниз. Этот природный оптический феномен я видел впервые в жизни (
на фото). Другая колонна на нашем пути была творением рук человеческих, но поразила моё воображение не меньше первой! (
на фото) Представьте себе, это жилой дом!
Сам Эко-город произвёл на меня огромнейшее впечатление! Казалось, что я попал в место, которое иногда вижу во сне: экологически и социально устойчивое, человеческих масштабов, пёстрое и динамичное, в гармонии архитектуры с природой (одно плавно перетекало в другое —
на фото), щедрое на цвета и формы (
на фото)… Мы пришли в неописуемый восторг, каждый по-своему. Зейнеп всё повторяла: «Я бы всё отдала, чтобы здесь жить! Пожалуйста, пожалуйста, хоть я бы я смогла снимать здесь квартиру в будущем!». Я носился вокруг вприпрыжку с большой радостной улыбкой на лице, делясь своими пророческими видениями того, как подобные устойчивые эко-города будут строиться по всей планете в следующие 50 лет, и что вот это всё, что мы наблюдаем вокруг — это один из самых ранних примеров. Особенно приглянулся мне дизайн прозрачного купола-биосферы, такие мы будем строить на Луне и Марсе (
на фото). Ну а Йо была намного более спокойна, но постоянно щёлкала затвором фотокамеры и изо всех сил пыталась поспевать за нами. Я был слишком возбуждён, чтобы шагать размеренно, а Зейнеп хотела успеть попасть на набережную до того как стемнеет, чтобы полюбоваться закатными красками неба (

Мы прогуливались по пирсу, впитывая в себя солёный аромат моря, глазея на людей в окнах домов и в кафе, обсуждали, как всё это вдохновляет на отличную учёбу, чтобы получить интересную и достойно оплачиваемую работу, чтобы жить в месте вроде этого… Мы были как группка школьников в «Детском мире», честное слово!.. (
на фото) Так мы провели около часа, а потом стемнело (в районе 16 часов!), мы замёрзли, устали и проголодались. Но были по-прежнему счастливы и болтали без умолку! Около часа мы топали оттуда — как будто совершая путешествие во времени на 30 лет назад, возвращаясь в «нормальный» город…
Как бы то ни было, мы пришли в маленький и миленький тайский ресторанчик, где каждый из нас взял по плошке риса и чашке с овощами в бульоне с карри (
на фото) и всего за 35 крон (это дёшево, скажу я вам!). По дороге туда я чувствовал себя счастливым и возбуждённым, ел очень быстро и с огромным энтузиазмом (как всегда!), а потом чувствовал себя счастливым и умиротворённым, болтать уже не было сил. :-) Когда бы вышли, я снова принялся грызть свой леденец, который всё ещё был со мной спустя два дня после покупки (я писал об этом
здесь). Мы с Йо поблагодарили Зейнеп за замечательные выходные, проведённые вместе, Зейнеп была очень счастлива это слышать! После многочисленных объятий, слов благодарности и всего такого мы распрощались с Зен и изо всех сил постарались не заблудиться по дороге к вокзалу. Когда мы добрались до поезда, отправлявшегося в Лунд, я окончательно расправился с леденцом, чувствуя во всём теле тепло, сладость и сонливость… В Лунде мы были в начала восьмого, мне пришлось идти до дома пешком, так как велосипед также был оставлен дома накануне поездки в Мальмё вечером в субботу. Однако я был так взбудоражен, что заснуть никак не получалось, поэтому я ещё немного почитал
про Экогород (
англ.), потом скачал и посмотрел документальный фильм
‘A Place Called Chiapas’ и лишь затем наконец-то заснул и проспал всего 4 часа, а потом наступило время начать новый день и новый курс!
